It was a pleasant surprise finding native timber in good condition under dated carpet and cork tiles. Both living room and bathroom floor were brought back to their initial splendour restoring the original rimu planks and getting rid of the wallpaper.

The living room showcases now a dark blue feature wall that complements the rimu warm tones, all balanced by the brightness of pure white walls and fireplace. The bathroom mixes a classic choice for tiles and bathroom ware with a soft green palette for accessories and wall paint… because life is too short not to use colours!
